From 6th April 2009 all properties coming on to the market for sale cannot be marketed until key elements of the Home Information Pack are in place – namely the Sale Statement, Index, Evidence of Title and Title Plan, Energy Performance Certificate and the new Property Information Questionnaire. A further 28 days is allowed for the production of searches (namely local authority and water searches). Therefore, speed is now essential in delivering the pack as soon as possible. All parts of the HIP are produced in-house by Licensed Home Inspectors Ltd, therefore ensuring we deliver our packs in the fastest time to the client.

Licensed Home Inspectors are ready and equipped to undertake the first of the staged Home Information Packs from 1st August 2007. There have been several keys changes in the process on the run up to the implementation of HIPs which have been very testing to all concerned in the profession - home inspectors, estate agents, solicitors - however, now they have arrived at last. This is a brand new industry and Licensed Home Inspectors have worked hard to get all systems implemented and tested in time for 1st August - meaning the smooth running and efficiency of the company from an order for a HIP coming in, to the finished product being available to the client. We welcome any and all new relationships with anyone involved in the industry - from estate agents, solicitors and other HIP providers - right through to vendors direct. For more information specific to you, please click on the buttons on the left or right of this Home Page. In the mean time, Licensed Home Inspectors wish you the very best and look forward to all of our new business relationships in forthcoming months. Michael Alan Sears Hi Dip M.N.A.E.A. Managing Director
